President’s Message

Installation Acceptance Speech:

This evening you have bestowed upon me a great honor.  I’m looking forward to serving as your State President in the coming year. When I joined ESA 18 years ago I was very impressed with this organization. My sister Billie Farnham invited me to a Spring Board meeting where she introduced me to Connie Ernest and the rest is history. These past 18 years have been a learning experience for me. ESA and you have become an important part of my life. I want to thank you for all your love and support you have given me through the years. I have made so many friends and I will  cherish these friendships forever.  

I enjoy all the philanthropic projects that we do.  They have been very rewarding.  I feel that we are making a difference in so many ways.  I know that St. Jude and Easter Seals are very happy that we strive to make things better for the patients that come through their doors every year.

I have chosen as my theme “ESA- A Guiding Light for Our Future” because you have been my guiding light throughout the years. We need to keep the light of ESA lit so that those who follow in our foot steps will be guided by it’s light.
